Privacy statement
Last updated: 2026-07-30
This privacy statement explains which personal data we process when operating this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is CogniLease.
For questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, you can reach us at studer.cognilease@gmail.com.
2. What data we process
Contact form: when you submit the “Request an intro call” form, we process your email address, the number of vacant parking spaces you selected, and the language in which you are using the website. We do not ask for anything else.
Server logs: when the website is accessed, our hosting provider records technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, the time of access, the page requested, and details of the browser and operating system. This data serves only to operate the website securely and reliably and is not combined with any other data.
3. Purpose of processing
We process the information from the contact form solely in order to contact you about the intro call you requested and to answer your enquiry. You provide this data voluntarily with a view to a possible contract. We do not use your email address for advertising and do not pass it on for that purpose.
Server logs are processed on the basis of our overriding interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising services and embed no third-party content. The fonts used are served from our own server.
Simply visiting this website therefore transmits no data to third parties, and no cookie banner is required.
5. Processors
We do not pass your data on to third parties. To operate the website we use the following service providers, which process your data on our behalf and are contractually bound to confidentiality:
Supabase (database): the information from the contact form is stored in a database in a data centre in Zurich, Switzerland.
Vercel (hosting): the website is delivered by Vercel Inc. The information you submit through the form is processed on servers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
6. Disclosure abroad
The information from your form is stored in Switzerland. To deliver the website and receive the form, data is processed on servers in Germany. Under Annex 1 of the Swiss Data Protection Ordinance, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection.
Our hosting provider Vercel Inc. is based in the United States, so access from the United States cannot be entirely ruled out. This disclosure is based on a data processing agreement incorporating standard contractual clauses, or on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework recognised by the Swiss Federal Council on 14 August 2024.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your enquiry for as long as it is needed to deal with it and for any resulting business relationship. If no contract comes about, we delete your enquiry at the latest 24 months after the last contact.
Server logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider and are then deleted automatically.
8. Data security
The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Access to the database is technically restricted so that the form data can be retrieved neither from the browser nor publicly; it is accessible only to authorised people within our company.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain information about the personal data we process (Art. 25 FADP), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 32 FADP), to have data deleted, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a common electronic format (Art. 28 FADP).
A short message to studer.cognilease@gmail.com is enough. Information is provided free of charge as a rule and normally within 30 days. For security, we may ask you to prove your identity.
10. Right to complain
If you believe that we are not processing your personal data lawfully, you can complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, Switzerland.
11. Changes
We may amend this privacy statement at any time. The version published on this page is the one that applies; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
